My Day

Today was a dreary day. It was raining a little, and a bit on the cold side. But I still went for a walk. I still didn't get the application for TLC Camp. This is really annoying. I am going to call them tomorrow, and ask them to send me one. This Thursday, I have a doctor's appointment, which I am not looking forward to. I never really liked going to the doctor's. And the dentist.

My Day

Today, I had a doctor's appointment. It was a blood test thing. I normally don't mind needles, but this time, I didn't like it. It was uncomfortable. But at least it's over. In a few minutes, I plan on going for a walk. Not much else is going on today. I can't wait for Easter, because I get to see my niece and nephew (and my sister)!!!! I love being an aunt.

An Update

Sunday, we got some snow, which I didn't like. This is supposed to be spring, not winter. At least the some of the snow melted today. I am planning on going for a walk a little later. I can't believe March is just about over. The month went by fast. I still haven't gotten an application from TLC. I wonder when they will be sending them out. I really wish I knew.

Exercised Today

Today was a nice day to go outside, so I took about a 40 minute walk to the park. I stayed there for a while, and then came back home. It started to rain a little, but that's fine with me. It was still a nice day. I am so glad it is spring now.

An update on goings-on with me: Yesterday I went to the park to relax. I brought my camera with me, in case I wanted to take some pictures. I did take pictures. I stayed there for about half an hour. I am hoping to go walking again tomorrow. Today, I just relaxed at home.

My Day

Today I went to Walgreens to get a few things for my mom. I got 3 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios, 2 bags of Easter M&M's, 2 things of Easter stickers for my niece and nephew (Her grandchildren), and 2 bottles of shampoo. I got in some exercise for the day, which was good. I am planning on walking a little each day. I want to lose a little weight, so I can fit into my swimsuit again. It's a little tight on me.

My Day

Not much happened today. It was a nice day out, but I didn't do anything outside. I think tomorrow is going to be another nice day, so I might go out tomorrow. We'll see. I still haven't gotten the application yet. I wish they said exactly when they were going to send it out. I'd really like to know.

My Day

Today I went to Border's and got the current issues of Girls' Life, and Kiki magazines. Then I went to Walgreens and got a 10-pack of pens and a box of quart-size Hefty bags. I got my exercise in for the day, which was nice. I haven't gotten the application from TLC yet. I hope I get it soon. I really want to volunteer with them again. I had so much fun last year.

Today's Happenings.

I had to cook dinner today, since my mom is still in the hospital. We had pizza for dinner. I went to the library after dinner. I had to return some stuff, and my mom had some DVDs on hold, she wanted me to pick up. My dad and I went to visit her earlier this evening. She's doing better, thankfully. She is coming home on Friday morning. YAY!!!!!!! But, she has to do an IV thing for a few days.

Today's News

My mom still isn't coming home from the hospital. I hope she will come home tomorrow. It's kind of weird not having her around. But it is nice not having her nag me about things all the time. It rained for a while today, but it was in the 50's, which was nice. I still haven't gotten an application for a day camp. I wonder what's taking them so long to send it. I will probably have to call them soon, if I don't get it.

For most of the morning, and part of the afternoon, it was raining and thundering out. Now, the storm has stopped, and it is sunny out. Though, I wish my mom was home. She's in the hospital for an infection. She's going to be staying overnight. Hopefully she'll get through this soon. What a way to spend her birthday weekend. Nothing else is going on today. Just relaxing at home.

Still Waiting for Camp Application

I had asked to be sent an application for TLC Camp last Friday, and I still haven't gotten it. I wonder what's taking them so long. I hope I get one really soon, because I want to go to the camp again this summer. PLEASE send me one, TLC Camp!!!!!!

Come On Spring, Get Here Already!!!

I wish it was spring already. I hate winter. I hate the snow, the cold temperatures, the wind. I am really looking forward to the warmer weather. I wish I was in Hawaii right now. It's always warm there. I guess this is what I get when I live in Chicago.

My Day

I have a few things to mention for today. Last night, I had a dream that my cat had batlike wings and was flying around the house. That was one of the weirdest dreams I've ever had. Today, I got an email saying that a website I created was in the top 1% of websites viewed. I think that's what it said. That is kind of surprising, since I just recently created the site. But it's pretty cool, too. Today, it's in the 50's outside, which I LOVE!!!!! I can't wait for winter to be over. I hate snow.

A Day With a Friend

Yesterday, I went to visit a friend at her school. We played a card game, went to an art show in one of the school buildings, and talked for a while. She is getting married, so we also looked through a wedding dress magazine she has. I am looking forward to the wedding. I don't know when it is yet. She probably hasn't set a date yet.

Taking Kitty to the Vet-How Fun

Today my mom and I are taking the cat to the vet today. She does well, until they clip her nails. She really hates that. The last time we took her to the vet, we didn't have her nails trimmed, so she wouldn't associate that with the vet. I hope we don't have to do the nails today. My mom will probably want to go shopping afterwards, because the vet is right across from a grocery store. Not much else is going on today.

My Day

Today, I went to the post office to mail a package to a friend. Then, I went to Walgreens to get a few things for Valentine's Day. On the way there, I saw a funeral procession. What's weird, at least to me, is that a public bus was in the procession. It was quite a long line of people in it. Then I went to Border's and got a sewing craft magazine, and a few scrapbooking embellishments. I got a good amount of exercise today. I am hoping to lose about 10 pounds. Maybe. That's pretty much all that happened today. At least, of interest.
